Tuckamore Aviation is now contracted with the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) to assist in a number of airborne missions to help assist the department in a wide range of roles including wildfire prevention and management support.
The DOI consists of various bureaus including the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Bureau of Land Management & U.S. Geological Survey & the National Park Service. As a resource aircraft for the DOI,
Tuckamore is available to fly a variety of reconnaissance and aerial survey missions across the United States and it’s territories. With the DOI overseeing 1/5 of the land across the U.S., helicopter support missions are key in performing the tasks required to keep this land viable and protected into the future.
